Loops in section

Hi! My sections look like that:
- SECTION1
- SECTION2 Current Articles ( in section 2)

-Archive ( is a subsection) - months and year - 09 /2008 example ...... - 04/2008 etc

- SECTION3
- SECTIONn

When I want put new articles I have to create new subsection in arichive folder a move all articles from Main section2 to that folder ( date ) after that I can put new currernt articles again.

I need two loops. Now I think that it could work better when I put only date subsection in section2:

section2 - 10/2008 - 09/2008 - 08/2008 .... - 01/2007 and.. first LOOP in rubrique-2.html show all articles form last subfolder 10/2008 second show rest subsection (just the date without articles) without this first.

I have qustion 0,1 - show one FIRST item ( or Last publicated when I sort by date) how to show rest? 1,n ?
